Week 1

Tuesday saw the first league game of the 2026/27 season end in a draw, the fixture was between Corfe A who were playing host to the BH15 PH ‘B’ team, both teams also started last season with a draw.
On Wednesday the BH15 Tossers (ex Centenary JB) side won 3-1 at the BH15 club but lost the Beer to the Corfe Lads. The Tossers seemed to have a problem getting the Beer point in their first match of a season, they have only won it once in the last five years.
Bluebirds E again got their season of to a good start winning 3-1 which included the Beer point against the Moordown Reds at the Bluebirds club, Bluebirds E have now won 3-1 four times in their first match over the last five years, also have won the first match Beer point over the last five years, where as the Moordown side have only won one Beer in their first match over the last five seasons.
Another fixture on Wednesday was between the Oakdale PHC and Bluebirds A, the result was a 3-1 win for the Oakdale PHC team in this short eight leg match, Oakdale won the Beer point, which meant that Bluebirds A had not won their first match Beer point for the third year running.3
Thursday’s fixture between the Claypipe Lads and the Wallisdown Lads was all about who could get the most stick-ups on the night, the Wallisdown Lads had seven stick-ups to the Claypipe Lads three, which was why the Wallisdown Lads took three points on their away trip to the vibrant Claypipe Inn, Jordan Nicholls got the first 18 of the season, he scored that on the last throw of the night which gave the Wallisdown Lads their third point and the Beer.
